Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh M3 J13Commis Chef

We are currently recruiting for two part-time Commis Chefs to join the busy Kitchen team in our hotel. One contract is for 16 hours and the other is for 15 hours per week, with additional hours likely to be available during busy periods.

As Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and presentation of a wide range of dishes.

Your duties will also include:-

  • Preparing in advance the food and equipment needed for service
  • Cleaning and re-setting your working area
  • Ensuring that wastage is minimised

To be a successful applicant, you should have an understanding of Kitchen standards and policies, and be enthusiastic with a willingness to learn. Ideally you will have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
