A day in the life of…
As Meetings & Events Sales Manager you will you will work with the local businesses and the community to generate Meetings/Dinners and Events.You will work with the hotel General Manager, Sales effectiveness Director, and Revenue team to continuously align and devise strategies and tactics to retain and grow the Meetings business for the hotel ensuring the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace. You will work with Sales colleagues and the Accor brand team to host events and visit Meetings Agents to generate enquiries for the hotel.
Based in the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes you will be part of a small (but mighty!) team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Meetings Sales in Executive or Manager capacity, preferably within the hospitality industry. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the senior management team on-property and wider national teams to create business opportunities.
